Funny, the other day I heard this story on the radio and all the creative ways to more out of the truckers. Extending the hours of service, higher shipping weights, and of course more drivers and lowering the age to get a CDL. The very next story was truckers waiting 6, 8, 10, 12 hour to get in and out of the ports. So what ##### good is it to find 80,000 more truckers when problem is clearly within the ports?
Wanted: 80,000 truck drivers to help fix the supply chain

What I'll never understand being Canadian I always take 10 off in the states because there split is stupid imo. But when I park at night the people who were there before me are still there when I leave. I have to ask how these guys make money with being constantly parkedD.Tibbitt, Magoo1968, TheLoadOut and 3 others Thank this. -

Just thinking out loud here, but it looks like the “trucking part” of supply chain crisis could be fixed with out 80,000 new drivers and fixed with about 40,000 new DEF sensors available and in stock for the current drivers waiting to get back on the road.
