It use to be in the back, now they moved it to the front. I remember as a kid when the tolls were still on 95 in CT, they use to put a wrecked car on display to make people see in the hopes they’d slow down, maybe that’s what they’re doing in Wytheville now.

Saw that today when I hooked my current load. Gatorade running to Mountain Top, picking up a return load back to Wytheville. Currently parked at the Rutter's in Inwood, WV, down the road from the insulation plant.

Spent last night at the metal stamping place in Cuyahoga Falls. Was not aware they'd let us sleep on their yard. Was a useful tidbit to learn.

Alongside their fence on the street side? Or did they start letting us sleep inside the fence?

Same on mine. Wouldn't be surprised if all of our 22 Cascadias are like that but that very few drivers actually notice or care.

I was bobtailing towards Atlanta from Midway last weekend, late at night and towards the end of my 11 after several days in a row of running it out, and had this moment when I freaked out that there was no trailer back there.

Decided right then to pull over just south of Macon for the night instead of trying to make it to the empty reefer I was picking up. I try to pick up on those signs that I'm way more tired than I feel.

Inside the fence. I actually spent the night in the dock. They lock the fence at 2:30 a.m., and their local driver shows up to unlock it at 5:30 a m. Fell asleep while they were still loading me, got up and hit the road at my usual time around 6 a.m.

    Lonesome and JustCallMeDriver Thank this.

I-81 has been more cursed than usual today. I have encountered four separate accidents today on my way from Mountain Top to Wytheville, each one bringing with it a 15-20 minute delay. The load I was going to deliver tonight at 7:00 won't get there until tomorrow morning.

We’ve had more than our share of idiots do that in our yard.

Sitting in Sparks just starting a reset. I’ll leave out 0 Dark 30 on Wednesday. This mess over Donner should be cleaned up. Meanwhile, I’ll entertain myself viewing the cameras. C3CA9AB6-200B-471F-8F2A-D796FCACD8B4.png
