What a mess. So sad.lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
Hard to tell who is at fault in this one. On the one hand those cars are in the middle of the road and the suv looks like it may have partly been blocking the second lane. We also dont know if they had flashers on or if he couldnt see they were stopped due to oncoming traffic glare. On the other you gotta ask how fast the truck was going and how distracted and if there actully was time to stop or not.
Lot of variables here and no matter how its cut it sucks.bryan21384 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
That would be my wife out there trying to render assistance. Cant get her to understand to stay where its safe.
buddyd157, bryan21384 and beastr123 Thank this. -
What a disaster

I wonder if the driver of the truck was paying attention...he may be in some hot water for this one. It was no way he was looking several seconds down the road.
Studebaker Hawk and LoneRanger Thank this. -

i actually used to ride my motorbikes at about 5AM on the weekends, as it was pretty much the only time i could spare.
i'd never rode faster than the speed limit, and very often well under, and on those un-lit back roads.
i don't know what was worse to ride knowing, the cold fog that came in patches, or the areas where deer were known to be.
come to think of it, many times, i was safer on the super slab of I-95..... -
Sounds like motorcycle and trucker were overdriving headlights RIP biker
