    Surprised there's not a MARMON in that line up. Cabovers were definitely the thing to have back then..

    Oh there were... I noticed several snapping pictures of us as they walked by or from thier cabs. I know one thing, I sure slept good that night. Even with 4 foot cheaters that was one hell of a workout.

    When I drove Local 6 wheeler, in late 80’s I saw a Freightliner, had hit the center wall, Driver went through the corner post of the Cab. His body tore through the aluminum, part of door and windshield, Flew out into oncoming Traffic, got ran over and over. It was an unbelievable site. I’m glad I didn’t see it actually happen, only the Truck afterwards, up against the wall.
