Some freightliner dealers are out of stock. Hard to find Alliance batteries. Some of them have Continental XHD-31T for $79 plus core.
    Are they good? opinions please.

They are literally just rebranded trojans. Ive used them in my pickups for years and never had a problem. Save once when a batch came in that was supposed to put out 900 CCAs and when i tested them because my truck wouldn't crank and they were only putting out 250 CCAs. I called the warranty line and they overnighted me replacments which considering my ram uses 4 batteries was expensive as hell for them.

Probably all about the same. Deka May be a better battery than others. Years ago they were Penn Deka, supposedly had thicker plates, and held together better. I’ve had a few sets of them. Judging by the huge Modern Factory in Pa. I’d say they’re doing something right. I found a good set of ????? Brand? at Peterbilt. Best price I could find. 2 yrs later still good so far. 900 cca x 3. Truck Dealers seem to beat everyone on price.
