Seeing what the opinions are on this route....I'm seeing the choices as I-90w to I-15s, MT84>US287>MT87>US20, or US191>US20....
I know the interstate might be the easiest but my company won't pay real miles so I get tired of getting screwed....I was thinking the second route, MT84>US287>MT87>US20, might be best for me as that other route through Yellowstone looks to be hilly...I'm a tanker and will weigh around 80k so big hills really slow us down... Thoughts ? Thanks, BT

Over to West Yellowstone is probably the quickest and there are only a handful of hills.
I usually always go that way. ( DG not allowed tho )BlueThunderr Thanks this. -
Over Raynolds Pass up to Norris and over to Bozeman is good as well. You can't get from Idaho Falls to Bozeman without a few hills.

Remember something. Shortest miles don't always equal fastest miles.

Going along side yellowstone is just fine.
Don't panic driver. You won't be the only semi using that road and the hills aren't that big.beastr123 and BlueThunderr Thank this.
