62 N. Not very far north, just half way up in the country, near the Norwegian border. But winter is early this year. I've heard that it is 3 feet of snow up north now

Cat sdp and 98989 Thank this.

62 degrees north is up there. The border between the US and Canuckistan is the 49th parallel. Roughly the latitude of Paris, France. Anchorage, Alaska is at 61 degrees and change. Substantially North of Edmonton, AB. Of course, the climate in Sweden is moderated by the Gulf Stream, just like coastal Alaska is pretty moderate. If that gulf stream ever shuts off (which has happened during ice ages), they'll be crying for some global warming in Sweden!

    thanks very interesting.

i am quite surprised that there is no trees at all on this level already.
here we have them up till 1500m.
higher than this you need to invest too much into building of roads on rock terrain for low quality wood, add snow and mines to that...

    medioker Thanks this.

    of course axle dont steer.....
    this is impossible to drive.

tried to lock steered axle on 6x2 lowliner, it ride like S***. lot of vibration, goes straight, while cornering it jumps. it lose traction on drive axle as well (even with high drag tires). when you unlock axle it is entirely different truck. (355/50 R22.5 on first two axles and 295/60 R22.5 on drive and 6cm suspension stroke)

You can lift it below 30kmh, all of mine came like that from factory.

Although drivers mentioned slight "understeer" while driving on higher speeds, but I think the effect is not so big, due to small tires (245 wide).

    daf105paccar and 98989 Thank this.
