Las Vegas area trucking company struggles to find drivers

They can claim what ever they want. Pay a decent rate per mile and get rid of the stupid California laws and see how many owner operators start visiting the state.

 

You can only beat a Horse for so long , time to pay the piper let the chips fall were they may , indendentured servitude is dead.

 

Most drivers aren't going to be excited to go to work for a mediocre company with older equipment , that pays average or below average.

 

I did not see their pay rates listed??? With only 2 safe years in the industry, a driver has really good options. No need to mess around with nonsense. I found my private fleet job. It will probably be my LAST driving job!!!

Hey Chinatown!! I'm over 6 years back in the industry. When I was looking at returning to trucking after 11 years off the road at that time, you provided a lot of insight. Things worked out. Having driven before, I knew I had to pay some dues again and play the game. The 4th job was the final winner, so far anyway.

Go look at their vehicle maintenance violations on the SMS page. I suspect this isn’t a top tier company and maybe their equipment and/or pay is the reason he can’t find drivers.
