Hello owner operators! I just have a question. I drive from Houston to Fontana California but the diesel prices are 900 one way now the average load pays 2000 of course coming back is a different story because we make around 5000.
we pay our drivers 28% I have two drivers now they make 2000 a week in five days so weekends off.
every day the price of diesel is going up but the brokers are paying less. It’s getting close to the point that the driver will make more than us what gives? What you guys think about our current situation ? God bless thanks
High Diesel prices + cheap loads WTH

The problem you have is California. Everybody wants to go there so the rates to California from anywhere are insanely low. I don't go out there because I refuse to haul for nothing just get there.

Fontana to houston. Any driver that puts up with that lane deserves all the money in the world. That sounds miserable
