Got this all figured out. Schneider is sending me to Indianapolis to finish up training, testing, and to begin orientation. It was confusing for a few weeks, but hopefully this will all work out.
Excited to be heading to training next week, and to finally get this thing going.
Truck school dilemma, testing out and no truck available.

Just got back from training in Indianapolis with Schneider. They had me in somewhat of a hybrid program. Typically they have 3 (with a CDL) or 5 week (needs a cdl) training programs. Since I already went to school before orientation, they had me in the 3 week program. When I completed 2 weeks, they sent me to practice for my CDL test this past Friday. I took the test yesterday, and passed.
They sent me home to get my license paperwork completed with California, and I will probably be out next week with a Trainer for my last week. After that I will be ready to hit the road. I am super happy to have this part of the training over with. It has been going on since July, and was getting to me. I know there is a ton I need to learn and experience. It is nice to say I finally earned that CDL. It has been a challenge for me. At 47 years old, I have not seen school in 30 years. It took some getting used to for sure.Boondock and austinmike Thank this. -
