I’m going to put a fridge in the truck plugged into the inverter. If the company doesn’t want me idling 24/7, how does that work? I’m going to have to sleep many nights with the truck off. I can’t imagine everyone with an inverter and fridge who can’t idle all night are letting all their food warm up, but I don’t see how to get around it either…what do y’all do?
Refrigerator/inverter in the truck when you cannot idle?

Put as many ice trays with water in them as you can fit in the freezer, and don’t open the door when it’s turned off, it’ll stay cold long enough for you to sleep.

I had same situation, although my comfort was more important than no idle policy so I idled when I needed to and figured they could fire me, no one ever said a word. Anyway, I put a fridge in and ran it off the inverter. Never had a problem overnight. When home I'd turn it off and put towels inside for any water. Most trucks have a fail safe if the batteries run down, everything is shut down so you have enough juice to start the truck. Even then, it won't be long enough to ruin anything inside the fridge.
