Just picked up this truck and the fridge smells horrible. When I got this truck their was a coffee pot in there that did nothing.

i put 2 boxes of baking soda in there and it’s been three days and still smells.

took Clorox wipes and wiped the inside down and it still smells.

it’s to the point where I’m thinking of buying a portable fridge when I go home. I only use the fridge for drinks but it’s so bad I have to wipe the drink down after I take it out to get rid of the smell in the drink.

Turn it off, remove all shelves and draws.
Spray with bleach, leave door open over night. Rinse and repeat.
Also it may not be the fridge but what spilled underneath it. It's only two bolts and a plug to pull it out.
I don't know which is worse a driver that lives like a pig or the the company that expects you to clean someone else's mess.
I almost walked away from a job that wanted me to clean a truck. I recovered the truck and took it to a dealership and got a room.

Pull out the drip tray and make sure you clean the underside of the freezer. Spray it good with a cleaner like 409. Set on low and leave the door cracked open.

Later. Whenever you have it shut down for holidays or whatever. Leave the door open so it airs out, otherwise bacteria and mold can grow in there.

Walmart sells a cheap fridge that even has a mini freezer compartment for like $89. I beat the crap out of mine, 3.5 years old still works. I’d just get another.
