Filed for authority earlier than I should have, can I extend?

I filed for authority about 2 months back, was expecting to have everything lined up by now (truck/insurance/etc) so I can get authority activated but it looks like everything will be taking a bit longer than expected....

Deadline for activating authority is coming up... does any one what my options are for extending the deadline? or do I just let it go inactive and reinstate once I get everything in line ?
