My wife has about had it with life on the road and I’m not far behind. We have a 2018 Volvo 780 with about 440,000 miles we bought new and have maintained well. Trucks seem to be in short supply these days so I was thinking $100,000 might be possible. I was going to list it on FB marketplace and Craigslist and see what happens. Is there a better way?

I’m sure it’ll sell within a few days for 100k. @Wespipes and @SteveScott sold their trucks recently...

I posted mine on Craigslist, FB pages for selling trucks, comerical truck trader, and truck paper

Craigslist; I posted in all the major ares around where I live. Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, st louis. Not a single reply

FB pages; how I sold the truck. Got A LOT of hate people laughing, etc etc. A ton of low bids. I politely refused. After about 24 hrs I had 3 serious buyers. I picked the first one who said he had the cash and was on his way. By the time he got here(next day, he flew in from Nebraska. I'm in Tennessee) I had 3 more buyers ready to send me cash without even looking at the truck and told me to call if he passed on the truck.

Comerical truck trader; paid for the premium. Took 24 hrs to post. Got 1 email. It was already too late guy was on his way to buy

Truck paper; with them you post, then they call you. Your post doesn't go live until they've called you. Truck was already sold by the time they called me

    Sold a 2019 pete 389 185k miles for 210k

Sold my truck and trailer together on Craislist within 24 hours of posting it. Don't be shy about asking too much for it. As soon as mine sold, I realized that I could have gotten $15k to $20k more for them which would have been about what I paid for them both new. Buyers are absolutely desperate right now. I'm very happy I'm not in that position right now needing a truck and/or trailer.

Truck Paper sucks for the small guy. It's über expensive too. They forced me to provide them with a shop that has worked on my trailer to vouch for me before they would even post the ad also.
