I haven't had a shipper or receiver take my temp since the lockdown. Every blue moon I come across a shipper or receiver that requires a mask. That's about it. I really don't think you have anything to worry about in terms of covid mandates right now. Only Tyson has the vax mandate to my knowledge.....

Never been required to show proof of vaccination or even asked about it in any of the 48 states and Canada that I have picked up and delivered in.

Not quite sure where that idea came from. Who told you there were customers were requiring vaccines?. There is the occasional temp check to enter a building or a basic fill out sheet with "Have you experienced any symptoms?" type questions, but that's all I have encountered.

I'm in a deep blue state and at my last job interview not a single person in the building was wearing a mask and neither was I and the manager gave me a firm handshake. The vaccine / virus was never discussed. I think the news makes it out to be much worse than it is. Nobody can force you to do anything. Everyone is hiring so just jump in.

Stay in Peru! The corona is just a cover to radically transform our society and economy, aka 'build back better'. You're better off in peru where u can still stay off the grid.

EXACTLY right about the media. The media takes one rumor from some guy on the fringe 19 states away doing something and then projects that ONE action by ONE person to be the permanent condition for ALL people in ALL locations for the REST OF HISTORY. The media IS NOT in the ACCURACY business. They are in the ATTRACT ATTENTION business. Their audience is almost only comprised of people that don't know of any other source of info or that have not yet noticed how many times per week the media is wrong about basic facts.

That was the original sentiment when comind down here. Problem is, Peru is good for spending money, but not for making money.

You don't see this changing now even with the mandate?

There is no mandate unless you work for or with the federal government, and if one was made it's not likely to enforceable, even if proven to be legal, which is in doubt.
