If you can still regen and keep going, do that and keep going. Then only take light loads, if you can choose your loads. Do that until you can figure out what to do. Wherever you are, talk to other drivers about it. Be humble. You just might meet someone who can direct you to the right place to solve this problem.
If you are completely shut down. Sorry, don't know of any solutions in that area other than what's already been mentioned.
