More hate for this truck. The hill assist won't shut off so I'm backing into a dock downhill trying to not get whiplash when I bump the dock. I looked like an idiot.

I was reading an article about autonomous trucks and how surrounding cars can slow them or bring them to a halt and another reader left a clever quip that I'm stealing.
He wrote: Confucius say, truck with no driver arrive with no cargo.

Too many years manual transmission where you control with clutch.

@mitrucker has the right answer. There is a customer I go to every day, most of the time it involves backing down an incline. It didn't take long to figure out if I put it in neutral and controlled the speed with the brakes, I wouldn't look like a rookie. Since it's not fast nor far, it isn't an issue.
