If it’s already a separate company then run the trucks under the other company using a lease agreement. No different than me having a truck and leasing to a carrier, I’m still me and not an employee of the carrier. If you’re truly concerned about the mandate impacting your business then there are options. But if you feel it’s just talk and your employees will get the shot instead of walking then you don’t have to do anything

I am not the decision-maker, but I looked into the options. The CEO and COO (Father/Son team) are not interested in making any changes just yet.

I can see businesses with just a few too many employees laying some off. Other businesses being divided into seperate companies, or asking some staff to become contractors.

Covid gave me near fatal pneumonia. I’m day 4 on the hospital and can’t breathe without a can of air. Don’t wish this on my enemies but even on this bed I still think we have our own right to do what we want with our bodies. We are grown people we accept the consequences of our decisions and actions.

Just for completeness, the fifth circuit has now permanently stayed the mandate, and the ruling elicited a chuckle here and there.... when the court fails the government on all five of the required five requirements to allow its actions, it’s known in legal terms as “a spanking”.

    for your reading pleasure:

Just like the CDC eviction moratorium fiasco, the courts didn’t waste any time reigning in the administration’s legal over reach.

There is no Federal mandate, there will be no Federal mandate.

And as for Brandon? Well, I’d just as soon let Brandon go......
