Thanks, Rocks. Best of luck in checking out Crete, as well. I hope they, or another company out there ends up being a good fit for your needs.

I would actually be interested in driving for them, but the only downside for them is that they require you to be out three weeks at a time, and that's just a little too long for me right now. They sound do like a good company though. Thanks for the lead, Chinatown!

Does Magnum have anything local or regional you could ask about? I know there was a guy on the Magnum thread that went local in the twin cities right off the bat after he went through their school. I think it would be worth a call to them and see if they have anything.

    Thank you for the suggestion.
I have checked Danny Herman before. Didn't like their pay.
Variant is a division of U.S.Xpress. I checked their website and nothing appealed to me.

    Zangief Thanks this.

I was a driver, until medical forced me off the road (can't get a med card, but healing up and should be able to get back out there next year). Currently riding a desk at a trucking company's headquarters in the Driver Services department and assisting the Recruiter (mainly doing background checks and keeping the driver files straight for the next FMCSA Audit), but my primary job is focused upon retention, ensuring the trucks are clean, detailed and ready to go for new drivers, managing the Sirius/XM subscription program, and coming up with engaging activities for our drivers... like the October Photo Contest that wrapped up on Halloween.

    Zangief and Rocks Thank this.

Ok... I hope you heal up fast and can go back on the road as you wish as soon as possible. :)

    Speed_Drums and Zangief Thank this.
