So this month I took a loss due to taking a good chunk of change out of the business to pay off a personal debt. With the acceptation of that it was a decent month. Made 2.47 per mile, a new high I think. Had one break down on my trailer. An air bag started leaking but I was able to get it to a shop without a tow. Lost one of the gears in my landing gear this month and found out it can't be fixed because the parts aren't made anymore. That's what I get for having a old trailer. Now I have to replace the entire landing gear set up. Going on vacation next weekend for a week so I will put the trailer in the shop to have a new landing gear, valences, and air bags put in. Estimate was just over $3200. On top of that I will need new tires for the trailer soon. When it rains it pours lol. Next month is probably going to be a negative month again but we will see. Don't worry everyone I have saved up the money to do all this so it will be fine.

    Enjoy your vacation.

You are right when it rains it pours but that is the way it goes.

Wife always tells me it happens for a reason.

Remember, it takes both rain and sunshine to grow the seeds you've been planting.

Here is an update for everyone. I found out there was nothing wrong with my landing gear so I don't have to replace it. I was looking into having my doors and supports replaced on my trailer which came to $6300. I was scheduling it for December to be done while I was on vacation over Christmas but then something came up. I had a very good month September and it allowed me to make a pretty big move. I am buying Another trailer. It is a 2018 Wilson With sliding winches and all the Bells and whistles I wanted.. I bought it for $52000. I have to sign all the paperwork Monday and they will put new brakes and do an alignment on it before I pick it up. Obviously I'm going to park the trailer I have and and slowly fix the minor things that are wrong with it and decide what I want to do next.I'm not in a hurry to fix this trailer right now. It gives me time to think of what I'm going to do next.. I can either try and get another truck on with the company I'm leased on to and have it pull this trailer or or I can sell it. I definitely have some thinking to do. So that's the big news your boy is getting a new trailer.. Once I get my profit and loss statement from my accountant I will post the numbers for September with an updated year to date. August was a decent month but I had a lot of repairs to my trailer that I had to pay for so my net was only a 100 bucks. I'm pretty glad that I Was able to get this new trailer because my trailer I'm pulling needs tires And is starting to fall apart.

Expected a loss October due to buying the trailer and some high maintenance costs. Still was a good month I made 2.13 a mile.

Hey Crazy- Great to see you still on here, telling it like it is.

Congratulations on the new trailer! Your hard work is starting to pay off, keep working and it will keep paying.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and please extend my best holiday wishes to all the people in the office there- Cola, Ken, Dorie, John and everyone else. From Wayne in the old 2480.

My year has left me feeling like I'm the real crazytrucker here. Between the supply chain disruptions and the insane gyrations in the marijuana market I haven't ever been bored this year. I could write a book, or start a thread! The people I work for are as nice as the people you work for and I am super well paid, so I don't think you'll see pulling a curtain van anytime soon. We are having to go far afield to get product, so if you recognize the truck out on the road, say hello, or stick your arm out the window and give me the finger!
