first, you cannot just DAC someone.
you have to have an account with them.
and i'm sure that your now former driver, is already working someplace else.
and if i recall, anything on a DAC file, gets closed at the 7 year point.
and even IF he leaves that new job, and gets another, not too many employers really care about DAC anymore.
kinda best to just suck it up.Another Canadian driver, WannaGoTrucks2016, Badmon and 2 others Thank this. -
I'll send the OP a note and see if we can get him back on here to tell his side of the story. Don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Their is nothing worse then a bad employee. It really hurts your pride when you have to pay severance pay to get rid of a no good ### hole who cost you money. But, in time it is always money well spent. So, bite the bullet, pay to make the problem go away even though your 100% in the right and move on.
I still don’t get it when a company gets notified that an employee is quitting and returning the truck and the company cuts off the fuel card so the driver has to use his own money to pay to get the truck returned. Just to keep a record clean of abandoning the vehicle.Another Canadian driver, shooter19802003, Midwest Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
I once lied and said my Truck was in the Shop. Told the Company I was Leased onto, I needed my pay to get it repaired. Once I got paid I told them I wouldn’t be back. Only reason being, I’d heard enough stories of them keeping pay, using false reasons. The Guy doing the stealing was very angry. I wasn’t due back for a couple weeks. Only reason he was angry is he didn’t get a chance to rip me off. He showed his true colors. He got what he deserved. I can play the game right up to the end. Then it’s surprise, no explanation needed.

I totally get why he did it...what kind of business can you be running if you search the internet about reporting a driver and end up at a forum of drivers asking how to do so instead of calling the agency that you want to be reporting to.
