So, I was informed by email in the end of July that I’m under new entrant audit, I uploaded requested document to the audit portal and never heard back.
I called the auditor like 6 weeks after and asked wazzup. He siad he was locked out of his audit system and he will get back to me when he gets back to me.
I didn’t really get a good vibe so not planning to call again.
Although, it’s getting a little long, when I log in there everything is still there, nothing is marked as “archived” (not sure if if was would that mean that he looked at it?).
Weird stuff.
Not sure if to leave it alone or what.
New Entrant Audit taking long, as in weeks!

If he can't do your audit because the system is unavailable to him, either through his incompetence, or the agency's, that means he is not doing thousands of new entrant or follow up audits. I am guessing this is on a state level. But because these trucking companies all cross state lines, it becomes a national problem very quickly. I feel so much safer on the highways I travel knowing that the DOT authorities have no idea what is posing as a legal trucking entity these days. The drug testing database is in worse shape.
In your case, I like the advice given above, do nothing. You have complied with everything on your end, ball is in their court.jason6541 Thanks this. -
Wait it out. They will get around to it when they can.

Probably the Covid thing, right ?

Your experience level and compliance should improve over time; SMS - Safety Measurement System has hints and tips, make sure you have your drug and alcohol stuff in place and keep running and fine tuning.
Take this time to perfect your operations the best you can and you should be in the position to show then that you have already corrected the stuff they found 'back then' and you will be fine; the new entrant audit is supposed to be an educational tool, not the Spanish Inquisition!
Hopefully you did review your stuff before it went in the mail to the DOT and should know what you felt was sketchy and work on it. -
