Just making a quick post to see what you guys think will happen. I decided to cover for one of my city drivers in TransX today. Got into a jackknife No one is injured or hurt The trailer and load is good. My truck will obviously be totalled. Do you guys think I can get terminated for this ?

I thought you were the boss. Your user name and the phrase "I decided to cover for one of my city drivers"....kinda leads one to believe that you're in charge.
And, how do you total a truck in a jackknife without hurting the trailer?

Depends on Trans X policy - if there is no cargo / trailer claim not sure why they would terminate the contract.... now the question is are you authorized to fill in without notifying them???

So you're really asking, as the owner, should you fire yourself for being a terrible driver?

Never sell that trailer, that is a tough one. Totaled the tractor, didn't even scratch the paint on the trailer.
