I got an email from them warning it was coming about 2 weeks ago. Then I just saw a load posted out of Houston and in the notes it said “vaccination required”.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
Because Independent shippers are requiring it.
like I keep saying the gooberment only had to ask, the followers of this administration are in positions to demand it without osha or any mandate.ProfessionalNoticer, rch10007 and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
singlescrewshaker Thanks this.

I said this about 5 years ago and it’s really taking on momentum lately…states and federal govt’s are going to duke it out for control. Results will be interesting to say the least.
Vampire, ProfessionalNoticer, John Joel Glanton and 3 others Thank this. -
Landstar does not require the vaccine. the email we received was that we should expect shippers/receivers to require it at some point.
As for the OP’s original comment about money, I am north of 250k for the year and I have taken over 3 months off..blairandgretchen, bzinger, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
The OP is so full of $&@!, it’s not a requirement to be leased on to Landstar. A few government loads require it, but we as independent contractors wouldn’t be required to get the vaccine to be leased on here. Nice try Richmond cranium.
blairandgretchen, bzinger, Rideandrepair and 9 others Thank this.
