I'd like to take the plunge. Anyone planning to retire soon, who could sell me a pre-ELD truck? Maybe a trailer too. Presently pulling refrigerated, and thought I might stay with that. But I'm open to just about anything really.
Maybe we can avoid getting off into the snarky ELD debate? No, I don't want to use paper log so I can dodge the HOS regs. Just want to keep it simple and low cost.
Old, working truck for sale?

I'll take $65,000 for mine (tractor only). Clean 99 FLD120. Not perfect but a #### sight better than most of them you see out here. Clean engine approximately 650,000 on an inframe. Detroit diesel with more than enough power. Reman 13 speed 150,000 ago and brand new clutch then. Brand new CAC last year. A/C blows cold. Front and rear suspension rebushed last fall. Brand new leaf springs. New king pins, one new spindle left front. 8 brand new Goodyear drives installed last fall. 2 brand new 16 ply Michelin steers installed last fall. Tires wearing perfectly. Lots of new **** on this old truck. Can scale at least 47,000 lbs in that Great Dane reefer it's hooked to.

theres always older trucks on there,
some of them appear to have been well maintained.
not cheap though.
If I were getting back into driving, Id not only get one old enough to be pre ELD, Id get one old enough to not have a computer on it at all.
it would have mechanical injection.
