Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive. For #### sake you see a pilot car for an oversize load and a narrow road you should excercise a little caution.

So, two of the three settled before the trial and only 2A pilot was the defendant. Just how do the complainant and attorneys think they will get $730 million from a little small pilot car company that probably has $1 million in liability insurance and a net worth of $250,000?

They don't expect to get anything from them. It's just lawyer shenanigans. They wanted some bucks from Landstar and they scared Landstar into settling out of court for 50 million. The other parties in the suit were just for pocket change and window dressing.

Sorry, but she was 73 years old, moving at 65 mph on 2 lane roads going into a narrow bridge and deliberately dodged the lead pilot... she is not worth 5 mill much less 730 mill

It will get appealed and reduced

    and won’t ever get paid
The insurance company will pay their policy limit and the pilot car company , which is Probabaly just one car and one driver , will file Bankruptcy.

not sure about Texas since it’s different in every state but a super load , especially one that wide , should have had at least one more pilot car in front . even if it was required

plus they should have had some strobe lights on the outer edges of the load .

but , if they drove off the roads to avoid the pilot car and kept going , all the blinky lights in the world would help a senile old driver

The days of personal responsibility are over

That car driver had no business being within 40 feet of a steering wheel.

73 and 2 churches in one day, somebody wasn't answering her prayers, perhaps he wanted a face to face chat with her, but he may have gone a little overboard.
