It usually takes me about 50 minutes to get from Fairburn GA to the Waffle House in Calhoun Ga.

    It took me 1.5 hours.

Usually when I get here I'm one of MAYBE 3 customers.

There's two standees waiting for a table....

The T-Day HUGE MANATEE has definitely started.

Day 19 for me, since I fell.
Stir crazy doesn't begin to explain how I feel.
Took a drive yesterday, just to get out and drive.
Found an empty parking lot, turned traction control off, did donuts, and then some drifting. Was maybe doing 50 kms/hr, but speedometer read 130-140 while drifting, it felt great. Although hard to control with 1 arm, and 1 leg.

I-75 North is still down to about 50 mph.

I can guess what things will look like at the GA/TN line.

I'm stopping at the J in Resaca, and will continue on in the wee hours.

And catch up on WIIS. I got 20 pages behind again.

Part of that was because I had crappy reception at last night's stop. It would take forever to load a page, then time out. Weird.

    Better.

I highly doubt my pickup would flip, but anything is possible.
    Otherwise its pretty safe.
Any empty lot, with nobody around, is safer than the hwy drive out there in traffic.

I would need to inspect that truck in person before I purchased it.......

Stuff I noticed on a quick look at the pictures.

Orange peal paint on the dash and door jambs is visible in the picture. Dash is gloss should be satin or flat, Also chrome piece missing from the dash.

The underneath shot looking at the rear diff: Terrible rattle can job on the rear axle and springs. Shocks look like they need a freshening up. Bed was not taken off for paint... Still white on the bed bottom and back side of the sides, also the back sides of the cab. If they paid $19k for cosmetics they got ripped off.

Cheap after market steering wheel. looks like they did not bother with polishing the switch surrounds... wonder if they even pulled them out to paint. And what is up with the worn red velour seat and belts? What is up with the diamond plate in the bed?
