It's never a good idea to park in rest areas in Ohio as the DOT likes to catch drivers fouling up there. Now there is more incentive not to park in rest areas in Ohio.

IDK, I do have 2 overweight tickets in 2 years, so I'm far from perfect in this respect. But, I was responsible for being overweight and put the blame on myself, not on the weight station.
Just sayin'

 

With 80,000 load and 12- 34 -34 on axles you can have ticket for rear axle (or front) overweight if scale placed not on perfectly level . Especially tanker loads. Free to ask me how do I know.

Ahhhh that explains things ! I go in and out of Miller brewing at trenton ohio alot and saw one of those trucks hiding in the weeds in trenton .
