Ive been pulling a lot of loads from the port and getting loaded involves a lot of stopping and going in a line of trucks until i get to the loading area. I've been turning my truck off everytime o stop which can be upwards of 15 plus times. My question is should i just go ahead and let my truck idle or not? In one since im worried that idling will be hard on my def stuff and fuel economy and the other since is my starter will be taking a beating. What do yall suggest would be the better option? Each time i stop and turn off my truck it will be 10 to 15 minutes before i have to start it and move up so its not just turning it off and immediately turning it back on just to be clear.
To idle or not idle while sitting in line to get loaded?
