Ive been pulling a lot of loads from the port and getting loaded involves a lot of stopping and going in a line of trucks until i get to the loading area. I've been turning my truck off everytime o stop which can be upwards of 15 plus times. My question is should i just go ahead and let my truck idle or not? In one since im worried that idling will be hard on my def stuff and fuel economy and the other since is my starter will be taking a beating. What do yall suggest would be the better option? Each time i stop and turn off my truck it will be 10 to 15 minutes before i have to start it and move up so its not just turning it off and immediately turning it back on just to be clear.

Your are saving some fuel, with not leaving the truck running. Your starter is taking a beating, and will wear out sooner. You also are not giving the batteries enough time to recharge, so you will be shortening their life as well.

I would split it in half idle at 900 rpm for a while and shut it down. I wouldn't do the start stop routine to often. That is just me.

Swap your battery starter for an air starter, problem solved.

Are you serious? Never heard of a air starter but seems at least possible.

They are great till you run out of air!

Starter and batteries are much cheaper than after treatment systems and worst thing you can do to emissions systems is idle
