(Cool videos) Man sought in thefts of ATMs, safe from Las Vegas

they gotta start putting a "LoJack" in those ATM's, catch them red handed.

 

Heckuva way to pay for those pricey Christmas gifts.

 

Common to all the photos, ATM's are right by entrance door. Move them to the rear of the space and bolt them to the floor, problem solved.

 

this is true, but i always see the ATM's near the front doors everywhere i go to as well...

 

Looks like 60-100 seconds to do the job tops, from when the alarm would have been set off. 60 seconds for the alarm co to call and dispatch PD 30-60 seconds for 911 dispatch a PDO 4-to-5-minute response time for a business burglar alarm for the PD. This guy doesn't even need to steal a truck to do the job with a 7-minute lead time.

 

There are a lot of holes in the desert outside of Vegas- opening narrative to "Casino".

 

Easier to just walk in and grab some very expensive purses and jeans and hair extensions and run out .

 

Also, it appeared he was taking the smaller shorter ATM's so they wouldn't have the amount of cash that would be loaded in a bank ATM. I would think they would only hold a thousand $ or less. My friend that works at our local bank said theirs holds $35,000.00. But it is built into the building wall.
