I’ve got a buddy with 24 years driving experience who is thinking about moving from hauling crude oil to hauling fuel.

Sun Coast/Suncoast Resources is supposedly paying up to $34/hour based on experience hauling fuel. Are there any Sun Coast drivers in here? What do you think about the company? What do you like most/least about the job? If my friend wanted to call/text you with additional questions would that be cool? If Sun Coast offers a referral bonus and my friend signs on, you could be that referral… just saying…

I left there 2 yrs ago this coming April, after nearly 7 years.
In short, depending on your skin pigmentation, will determine how much you can get away with.
The harder you work, the more they put on you.
Cameras everywhere, and I mean everywhere. They monitor you walking across the parking lot.

Decent equipment, mixture of company owned, and PacLease, all autoshifts.
Family Heath insurance is about the most expensive around.
Driver facing cameras, they can, and will monitor you in ‘real time’.

Did you know anyone who was written up/fired from actions on the camera they disapproved of? Was it petty stuff or just serious things?

Yep, it has been known to happen, I can think of 3 individuals terminated, for not a real ‘major’ infraction, not a DOT matter, just stuff the company mucky-mucks didn’t like.

Also, just remembered, if you are a company employee, never ever, I mean never mention the company name on any social media. The owner has spent millions on computer programs that do social media ‘sweeps’, searching for posts that mention the company. If you are caught, you are subjected to suspension/termination.
