I need quiet to sleep, and dark.
Living in the country, I am used to quiet.
I also have blackout curtains on my windows.
No way could I sleep at a truck stop, or with an apu running, those things are very noisy.
When I've had to sleep in my truck, I find a quiet place, park, and shut the truck off. If its cold out, not a problem, i have 4 blankets with me in winter.
My last night in the truck I drove a few kms up a bush road, came to a wide spot, turned around, parked facing downhill incase the batteries or starter failed, shut it off, and had a glorious sleep.
The sun coming up in the morning woke me.
What if it Snows?

I wanted to add this last item and am going to move on. The woman was arrested somewhere between here and DC and is currently being held. Keri's attorney called her and said her ex is also going to be charged with Virginia code 18.2-22 along with the woman. Currently, I do not know his location, but I have noticed more patrol cars driving around here over the past several hours. The attorney told Keri that for them to be charging conspiracy they must be texts or emails discovered after the brother was arrested this morning.
This is ending for me today. I might end up in the ER before this day is over. Keri understands about my health and has contacted American and she will be flying out of the Norfolk airport space available on the next flight after her husband is found. She has changed her phone number and still keeps all her social media private and will continue to do so. Because she works for American they can get her back here for any possible court later. We will have her car transported to her later along with most of her belongings. She will NOT be returning to Hampton Roads. I have known Keri for many years. I will miss having her close by. But, I have to physically heal now. I am also waiting for this to blow up in the local news. By the time it does Keri will be out of Virginia!
The management of these apartments let Keri out of her lease early and will keep the deposit. that apartment is empty today and all utilities are turned off. I am sitting at my desk looking at her as she is talking to contacts at her destination. Once there she has an almost 200 mile trip to her final stop. I wish I could help her with my contacts, but Keri still has PTSD and panic attacks so these arrangements have to be handled carefully. So unless anything happens, this should be the final comment made.LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep, Speed_Drums and 11 others Thank this. -
