I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews on this company and a couple good ones. .. so here’s mine
When I started I had just shy of one year experience so my options were limited they took me in with a 1350.00 weekly gaurentee shortly after that it went to 1525.00 gaurentee and I usually beat the minimum. in the 11 months I was there I grossed over 75k some things I liked was new equipment although not the flashiest just a 1bunk cascadia they all have inverters, fridge, APU and bunk heaters.. fast pass and I pass, no inward camera.. flying j/pilot fuel and trucks only take 100 gallons so always plenty of shower credits and pointsI had a good dispatcher (Rich) we rarely bumped heads but when we did we always kept it business never disrespecting one another.. if I ever needed to get to a certain city they would accommodate me most of the time.. paycheck was never short always on time w2 job.. so I asked if they could route me to a certain state so I can look at a semi to buy and they did, I bought it and then I asked if I could store it in there lot and they said yes.. they even made me a key for it.. not saying this is the norm or they are going to do any of that for all there drivers but hey just ask I guess and this was allowed by Jason the terminal manager.. they do lots of relays at k and b so I always talk to the drivers ask them about there experience there and there are a lot of driver that have been there for several years I’m talking 7-10 and a lot of 2-3 yes turn over is high but a lot stay.. if you work hard and don’t mess around they will look out for you.. ok now the bad.
Most of the dispatchers are courteous and professional including knights and weekends BUT I have gotten into it with a couple of them and one of them might not even be there anymore and if he is they did a great job of keeping him away from me that dum condescending rude #######.. trucks stuck on 65 mph that will drive you insane.. cruise won’t work with headlights on or wipers and btw 80% of driving is at night.. they started using a Bluetooth device evvy that mounts to the windshield and connects to your personal phone so no apps can be used while trucks in motion BUT it pops up even when the trucks not in motion bothering you while your off duty or if you need to satilite a map to see a shippers set up or just open up some podcast that you listen to while you drive for 11 hours.. it’s refer so your going to have to hear a unit run all the time and they have carriers that seem to be louder than thermokings.. lots of relays and sitting on docs. You will run your ### off at K-B it’s not free money.. 2215DE3D-B49E-4EE0-86F7-93456B62851D.png if anyone has any serious questions about k and b post up I’ll let you know my experience.. and no I’m not a shill I don’t work there anymore I don’t get anything from them but they did look out for me and pay me well

Yep sounds like a nightmarish big mega for sure. Reefers , 80% running at night , relays , lots of live lives , sitting at docs. I put all that time in over 20 years ago don’t need it now. Like my lazy little dry van dedicated half retired 9-5 m-f gig. I feel for the younger crowd.

Frank Speak, jason6541 and Crusader66 Thank this.
