The spam will drive you crazy. I ended up making up a fake number and email to make it go away. You don't need any of those Supervisor type deals. Just get enrolled in a consortium and do it yearly.

As far as the odometer reading, YES it's a big deal if it's not accurate. If you ever catch a state IFTA audit they will walk all over you. How are you calculating your state miles? Anyone can just do the math but they're looking for cheaters and if you don't have an accurate hub or dash odometer they'll throw the book at you.

Correct, owner operators without hired drivers do not need "supervisor training". These scams tick me off!!! They give the legitimate consultants like myself a bad name.

PA has scam alerts on one of their websites. I got four letters all wanting money for something and threatened fines and/or jail if not in compliance. They were all listed on the site. I wasn’t paying $200 to post a labor law poster in my own home to make sure I was aware of the laws should I start to screw myself LOL.

Don’t you have to do a query thru the clearinghouse every year?

You should get that fixed, the speedo issue...

    That one's important.

I rectify odo vs gps tracking for quarterly and see that it matches my logs, but its never off more than 1 % miles, have had it (gps) both higher and lower than odo readings and im small fish, its not a real issue. But get into the 5% + arena and its a big issue, especially as that scales with fleet size

Another thing, I normally do a paper check...how did Mercer get my ACH info??? I noticed when I done the carrier packet it was the same as others I think from TMIS or whatever.... I done a carrier packet back in September with Circle Ten and they only done ACH so I signed up for it...it was the same format type carrier packet(online) as Mercer maybe from there??
