    Good morning all,

I finally got my TNT trainer last week. So far so good. Lots to learn. Lots to get used to. Sleeping on a moving truck doesn't seem to be an issue with me, but the space constraints are. I'm a big guy and between his and my stuff, there's not a lot of room to move around. Anyway, I'll make the best of it.

    Wish me luck.

Good luck, would love to hear all the info you have to provide. I just applied to a few companies, including Prime, yesterday. Prime is my top choice so far.

Good luck. Prime's TNT can be long. Just remember your life in the truck is instantly better when you get your own truck. Don't lose your temper and quit before you get your own truck. Your trainer has habits, but they are not necessarily the LEGAL or best way to do things. They are just his way to do things. IMO, if you are not backing into parking spots or dock doors several times per day you are being cheated and will have troubles on your own.

PLEASE DON'T PARK AT FUEL PUMPS, EVER. Pull ahead or find a parking space. Prime has a pretty good training system. You can do it.

you picked up the meat grinder, well, you will eat lots of #### at prime, as everyone does there, 100% turnover last 4 years for this company for a reason.

Why would you sleep in a moving truck during training?
    There is something wrong! Badly!

Well, the truck keeps moving pretty much 22 hours or so a day. I relax or sleep in the bottom bunk when my trainer is driving, and vice versa. Thought that was pretty much normal judging from my discussions with other trainees and watching YouTube videos about TNT.

    That's not training, my friend.
Both, trainer and trainee have to be on duty at same time.
As example a classroom: what good is it when the teacher is awake and the student sleeps? Or vice versa.

It's normal for Prime, and many other carriers, from what I've heard. I started at Schneider and the trainer is required to be on-duty in the passenger seat at all times while the trainee is driving. On the other hand, my time with a trainer was only 1-week long, but that was 1:1 training the entire time.
