Thankfully I seldom have to use tolls, but when crossing the bridge on I275 in St. Petersburg, Fl (I believe it’s known as the Sunshine Bridge), if you don’t have a sun pass card, can you pay with a debit card or are you required to have exact change? And should you go through a toll (be it the bridge or any other toll in the Tampa area) that won’t take a debit card, are you screwed if you don’t have cash or do they simply photograph your license plate and send you a bill?
This is probably a dumb question, but I figured I’d better ask. I’m planning to travel around that part of Tampa in the near future. It’ll be in my personal vehicle and not a commercial vehicle. I didn’t know which part of the forum I should post this in. Thanks.
Road tolls in Tampa, Fl…?

It’s silly to think I’d be forced to sit there and have to call someone (not sure whether they’re manned or not), but I’m applying the old proverb “the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask”.
Siinman Thanks this. -
