Yeah man. The pay is here. The micromanaging doesn’t seem to be as bad as I heard either. Get trip, put in time trip will be done, get new trip. Lather rinse repeat. A side note on pay, I haven’t ran across a driver yet that was making what was advertised. Everyone has been above that number unless they had a lot of unpaid time off.

I have a dozen close friends that I worked with at a previous job that have been with Walmart running out of SangerTx for over ten years. Yes they all complained about slip seating and other micro manage bs when they started but laugh all the way to the bank now. All are on a Sunday or Monday out schedule and drive the same truck week in and out. No slip seating unless they have a service issue. Yes they do micromanage on a few things but you are paid very well to put up with it.

So curious as to how that’ll work. WM trains a new driver, then after training says “go get experience, and we’ll see you in 30 months!” Or are u saying WM is ditching the experience requirement, and hiring new drivers that WM trains? Sorry, I’m skeptical on either scenario until I read/hear official news from the home office.

WM wants to train drivers THE WALMART WAY from scratch and keep them thinking the Walmart way their entire career. Therefore drivers will not be acquiring experience outside of WM. I personally think it's a good idea. I've seen too many wm dedicated drivers that don't even know the basics of driving a truck like just hooking up a trailer. It's scary ####.

Well, let’s get the .89 CPM sorted away. That’s not what the base rate is. They’re (The recruiter) are trying to average out wages for the year into CPM. Before whatever raises toll out this year if any the base mileage rate for the area I’m in is .49 CPM. With that being said WM pays for nearly every thing you do from arriving, departing, Live load/unload etc. It adds up.
