WalMart drivers word to the wise...

Lol!

 

You know why?? Because I have spent 58 years in this business. Not only do I look for "negatives", I have no faith or trust when it comes to driver and management. Been lied to, cheated and hung out to dry. I really became very negative the 10 years I ran as an O/O.

 

My old Werner trainer went to Walmart. I used to always think of them as the holy grail of trucking until he started telling me the inside working of the company. Nah, Estes is where I'll stay. Way more freedom, no cameras, lots of money, and different things to do.

 

I'm about 10 years behind you and truth told we don't really have to look for negatives that are so prevailing today.

I don't know, the pusher I think gets irritated with me lately spending time on the trucks while he's trying to get me on a load. About every other truck I get ends up on the maintainence line with a red tag. Plus when I get the truck from the day driver I'll say something to him when I find faults on the truck.

 

yep, he's correct and that's just one of the many reason I just had it with Walmart and quit. Called into the office once a week for BS, felt like I was back in grade school. Did I mention slip seating SUCKS.

 

yes I was written up and your correct, you are on camera 24/7 when driving and at the stores. I was called in the office once a week for something they say on camera. Finally I had enough and quit, it was like I was back in grade school. Thinking of applying at Walmart? DON"T
