I just bought my dirt truck after driving for the US government for the past couple of years. I’m not ready to go full on independent yet. I’m looking at leasing on and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best company to lease on with. Thanks in advance

Knowing what type of "dirt truck" would be helpful in pointing you in some direction.
There are many types of dirt trucks including these.

Okay. Where do you live. What kind of truck do you have? Do you want OTR or regional/local? Do you have a trailer and if so what type?

We can answer your questions better with more information.

Maybe Schneider to start out with. They have a lot of good things that help. Some nice secure terminals where you can stop at.Good help with the paperwork stuff.Pay might not be as great as others but ok.They're a good starting point for all drivers.

Go to your local truck stops and ask cattle haulers. That might be some you can get into. I have never done it, but Oklahoma seems rural and it's a rural job. Grain trucks too.

I'm almost pretty sure that truck is too old for Schneider. At this point, almost eveyone will require a truck that will hook to an ELD.
