I do live there a few months a year.
I live across the street from this:
    Universal Beijing Resort

The article says it's an 'anticipated' resort. But, in fact, it's now completed.
My condo value jumped from my purchase price of $84G to the new value of $1 million USD.

But you keep coming back here, so one has to conclude here is still better.......IN ALMOST ALL WAYS....they can keep their tunnels and bridges, I choose to keep FREEDOM 100% of the time (even with Brandon, we have more true freedom than the Chinese populace)

Not really, but I won't comment on that except on the political thread.

Just a note about the English tunnel. You don’t drive through it in your car, you drive your car onto a train and the train takes you through. Same with trucks.

Happy for you……I’ll stick with middle America…….did 38 years on the West Coast, saw it all change so left. Have personal experience with what Sin City and it’s burbs do to families……very difficult area to raise kids

    I'm actually in Henderson.
Henderson and Las Vegas city lines zig-zag through each other.
If I go to Walmart a few blocks from here, it's in Las Vegas.
I stay away from the Strip; that's a good place to get mugged and killed.

    Henderson is much better.
    FAMILY STYLE LIVING
Henderson is ideally located just southeast of the Las Vegas Strip and McCarran Airport, and just a mile north of Lake Mead with its 500 miles of shoreline. Lake Mead is the largest manmade lake in the world and offers great opportunities for boating, sailing, jet skiing, fishing, water skiing, camping and windsurfing. Plus the city has over 50 parks covering more than 1,000 acres, including 80 athletic fields, 43 tennis courts, four indoor swimming pools, and seven outdoor swimming pools for residents to take advantage of year round.

Personally...I enjoy the little peeks of China that @Chinatown gives. All I know about China is what I learn on my own, or what the media and politicians want to feed me. Which is generally only what is to their advantage.

So keep on posting Chinatown. I like seeing how other cultures and countries do things. Doesn't mean I agree with them, I just like learning about other cultures and countries.

Anyhow...cool bridge. Reminds me of a show I saw on Disney+ about how they created Disney Hong Kong, and Disney Shanghai. History of Imagineering , or something like that. Interesting show if your a fan of history and theme parks.
