Hello drivers and mechanics. Whenever i find the soultion i’m posting here and now seriously i will need your help. I have this volvo with cummins isx 15 500hp vehicle is 2011.
I took it to the shop for driveline vibration and clunk , but all of a sudden when the mechanic move the truck to put in the garage the truck would nor start. 3 and a half weeks my truck is in the garage, and this guys pulls everything they took out the cover on the head, remove all the house, removed waste gate, rebuild the head of the fuel pump, replace fuel filter. They said the turbo is good. I know they are not playing me cause this guys work on my truck in the past 6 years. Engine starts then right away dies. He said might be the pump it self which he said i was supposed to check when the head was off, but he will reopen it tommorow and see. what do you guys think, what can cause this issue ? literally he said i shut of the truck and truck never started again. Please help

I know this is not helpful to your situation but your shop sounds like they are guessing vs actually troubleshooting the no start condition. If it were mine, I would tow it to a more capable shop that knows the engine and has the tools and information to properly diagnose the engine.
There is not enough information contained in your post to come to any educational diagnosis of your problem.p608, Big Road Skateboard, lester and 3 others Thank this. -
can’t say no on this. cause i figure out they bs me over the phone everytime i called they say someone is working, and i went str8 there to check and no one was working. I will tow my truck to another shop

okay enden up turbo is shot. New turbo $7000 sucks.

Make sure you check the EGR cooler good. If the turbo ate coolant, it will fail again.

EGR and def are bypassed. I don’t think i add coolant beside when i had an some coolant hose leak, but since egr is bypassed, is it possible that can still cause issues ?
thank you -
No it doesn't matter. -

Goodysnap Thanks this.
