My tractor parking valve is leaking and I'd like to replace it.
Does anyone know if there is anything about that valve that is specific to this truck? I think it's an mv3 valve but I seem to remember talking to FleetPride at some point and them telling me there are different versions of it or something?
I know the one from Freightliner was expensive. If I remember correctly, I think it was like $380? That seems like a lot of money for that valve and I'm sure it's more now.
If you replaced yours what did you replace it with? Does it matter what brand it is? Is there a model that is specific for this truck that will go right in?
I prefer to get it from Freightliner or FleetPride because if they have it in stock they'll run it right up here to me tomorrow and I can put it in.

They are either Bendix or Wabco. My FLD had Bendix, and so did my Peterbilts and my Kenworth has a Bendix too. Get the part number from Freightliner based off your vin and see if FleetPride has the better price.

Doesn’t Freightliner have a system where you can look up parts based on your VIN?

I have not been on my dtna account for a while and if you don't go on for some time they disable you and you have to call them and have them set you up again. It's a quick phone call but I'll have to do that tomorrow. -
Just call a dealer and ask for the part number for your MV-3. You should be able to cross reference.
What year and model is your truck. With the last 6 of your vin someone might be able to help. -
Sending thoughts and prayers to you, you’re going to strip every bolt in the dash

Easy to replace once you get access. Good luck
Not as bad as the pictures look. I had to replace the internal dash frame.Attached Files:

I thought about replacing mine when I did the dash frame. I passed as I was already having waaaay too much fun.

Best thing about my WS was the hinged dash. Similar to the FLDs in design. Except very simple and sturdy. That picture is not very encouraging. YouTube video I found is useless. The Guy doesn’t show any of the actual work. Just cuts to the finished job. Lol.
