Roads have been very slick in bc passes are expected but some areas it’s plain contractor greed 3 to 4 inches of snow pack on easy to clear areas then the hot weather hit and roads were so choppy it was ridiculous.

It sounds like it may be time to stop farming out the road maintenance to contractors.

Road maintenance on the number 1 has been awful this year. -Even number 5 around Merritt.
It’s aggravating because there’s so much traffic along that corridor, it can’t keep getting shut down for wrecks.
I’ve noticed a real lack of sanding. They definitely need to step it up. And I wouldn’t say it’s all of BC, I’ve taken a couple trips up north of Williams Lake and maintenance has been good up that way. -
