Hello all, I am not very mechanically inclined at all, and during a pre trip I noticed this bar sitting on the drive shaft so naturally out of curiosity I pulled it up and when I did it let out a loud hiss of air from I don't know where. It doesn't seem well secured and seems like natural bumping of the truck could cause it to discharge air or something. I don't know. Any body know what this is? Should I leave it like this?
What is this and should it be like this??

Looks like the rod from the leveling valve.
Probably from the cab air bags or suspension bags.
I’m guessing it’s the sleeper air bag valve. Check to see if your sleeper air bags are deflated.Last edited: Jan 17, 2022

As mentioned above, it’s a leveling valve arm. Since the exhaust is visible it’s apparently for the cab / sleeper air bags….
