What is this and should I leave it where it is?

    Yes get that fixed. Controls the cab air ride height. Believe it or not if it rubs against the driveshaft long enough it'll cut it in half.

    Yeah I did think it takes bumps and wavy roads a little rough. Ok dark now and I'm parked for the day it's cold I will look at it in the morning and see if I can find where it should attach thanks for all the info guys.

    That would be great ! Curiosity got the better of me I went back there just now tilted it down 90 and saw nothing just the exhaust pipe and I doubt it goes in there somewhere lol.

    Fully loaded it rides ok actually but yeah bobtail or empty I can be all over the place at times

    That's not your cab leveling valve. That's your suspension control valve.

    sorry but your wrong....
    The suspension leveling valve is between the drive axles on the drivers side under the hitch.
    The cab leveling valve is on the passanger side at the back if the cab above the exhaust pipe....in the op pic you can see the exhaust pipe
