    It always has been complicated since the markets have been stabilized at a low price for way too long.

    Most of our economic models are based on an expanding consumer base -- People are going to have kids.

    Unfortunately the U.S. Gov't and corporations have squelched a healthy rate of inflation for food crops and other life essentials over the past few decades. That reinforces bad assumptions in the general population. The Federal reserve is using 2% as a target annual inflation rate. My opinion is that is too low for a healthy working class (non-wall street) economy.
