Most of us have known this for years. Sad it took over a decade to come to light.

All levels of goberment, cops, insurance, everybody is aware and has been aware of the racket for decades. All normalized and treated as typical and normal operations. The stories I've heard you don't even want to know, that article only skims the froth. What's even more disturbing is how most people outside Canada still believe this is a nation of laws and proper order, haha. Omnipresent corruption and nothing being done about it. A republic of greedy egotists is doomed. No tribe can solely survive upon principals of individual self-preservation. Inevitably civil wars erupt or such acts of disobedience and disorder.

Mahan Singh remembers feeling terrified he would lose control on an icy highway and kill someone.

Imagine that... Mahan Singh never saw snow or ice let alone driven on it in his life - but we gave me 63,500kg of steel when he got here to prance along on his way - and was terrified? noooooooo wayyyyyyy broooooooo

Part blame should be on these drivers as well, paying someone to work/ get a job?

But plan and simple if the Humbolt crash didn't change anything, then NOTHING will.

    Government needs to start governing.......

Yes great article this might explain why they insist on drivers now having to spend $8000 on driver training, however both drivers in the news article where not experienced truck drivers, my question is why does the Canadian government or state governments not recognize prior truck driving experience, where by a truck driver from another country be it New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Australia, is forced to spend $8000 to learn what he already knows is down right ridiculous.
