Had a dang accident n hoping to get CDL

I’m a retiring teacher n coach of 25 years. I want to go into driving truck as my retirement job. Had companies calling me everyday, but got into a accident n looks like it may be my fault. Got hit head on and don’t remember much. Will any company hire me for OTR with recent accident. I should have my training completed in June of 22 and wanted to get started in July or August at latest. I have held a spotless CDL be for over 15 years.

 

I received no ticket, n letting insurance fight it out, honestly I had a car to right of me n when he left I left n then boom, n about all I remember, so I’m playing worst case scenario, what if I and other car left early thru red light or best case the other car ran red light. I was knocked out for awhile it seems. Just so pissed because I really ready to retire n get into trucking,

 

No I did not receive a ticket. The whole thing was kinda a blur n happening fast. Lol, n my car was about to be paid off, I owed 500$ on the dang thing.

 

Location is Dallas area, I’m not sure it was my fault, I’m just going worst case scenario. Honestly I went when car on my right side went n don’t remember looking at light so I can’t be honest in saying hell yes my light was green, just can’t say for sure I double checked, n other driver had trouble speaking English so I’m not sure what he thought. It’s just bad, I’m a good drive n don’t get into stuff like this but I guess my card was up n it happened

 

Thx for comments folks, I’m just really in shock still. N had my heart set on becoming a part of the truck driving family . It was going to be my reason for purpose. I used to teach n coach for purpose n now my purpose would be get cargo to where people or companies are in need of. Obviously I’m severely depressed about this. There many people that don’t want to be a truck driver but I do with full passion.
