The question to ask is when will you get the truck if you agree to the price change. They may just raise the price again six months from now.

Sounds like the dealer has someone else that they want to give that build spot to at the inflated price. Get your money back, send an email to the regional manager and Paccar corporate and never do business with them again..

    Sue..!!
in Small claims Court, just to "rattle" their cage. You've got a case, specially if the've already gave you a "Price Quotation" and accepted your original deposit.
    (You got a case)

If you had to order new today, at these prices, would you? Or would you ride out your current equipment til things calmed down?

You must be one of the other buyers lined up to take this poor man/woman’s truck. LOL

Well, are you talking the 176k for the May trucks or are you talking something else? Those two may trucks are 20k higher then just last month and I also have to take Paccar instead of Cummins. No offense to the Paccar folks but there is nothing but Red paint on my yard for over a decade now. I’m not sure how much cheaper an option Paccar is over Cummins but it’s gotta be at least 5k. So, effectively it’s a 25k increase per truck. I was thrilled to have the “honor” of those two build slots if that tells you anything.

The OP hasn’t said what the total cost for his truck is at this point with the increase.

The truth is, prices are never again going to be lower then what the current new from factory prices have gotten too. The private market will eventually calm down maybe a year from now but the crap is outta the horse already on factory orders. There is no putting it back in. lol

You know what's best for you. Call the county Bar Association where the dealership is and ask if they can recommend an attorney that specializes in business contracts. You might not have a contract as some here say, but most lawyers will give you a few minutes of their time without charging you. Or they will have their paralegal do it. Yours is a story they have probably heard before.

Since you are involved in a negotiation,
here is something you can get on Ebay, and it's still in the wrapper. I got it a long time ago, enjoyed it. Twenty four easy to listen to lectures by one of the world's best professors. THE PRICE IS A STEAL!

How much did gas drop when covid hit? Cuz Trump didn't do anything.

How many TRILLIONS did Trump spend?
Everything he signed was the biggest of any bill by any president ever.

What else you wanna discuss about your pig?
