2005 Great Dane spread axle

    Hey guys I cannot get the pins to release for the life of me on one of the axles. I think this is the part that is bad anyone know what’s it called?

    Below is the pic it’s some kind of piston or actuator that releases the pins

    That's just an air cylinder. First thing I would do is pull the air lines and make sure you've got air going to it. One line should have air when trying to release the pins and the other side should have air when trying to lock them in. If no air you've got other problems. If you have air cylinder is probably just stuck. Does it get used often, if not they will seize. Or is it freezing cold where you are? Could just be frozen

    Hey boss trailer was parking for about 2 years a company was paying me storage to hold there product.

    I just emptied it out yesterday and tried to move axles and could not move the front one
